Fabric

Fabric is a key ingredient in determining the costs, printing technique and durability of the shirt after several washes. the commonly used kinds for t-shirts manufacturing are:

  • Polyester
  • 100% Cotton
  • Polyester/ Cotton blend

Polyester

  • Durable and  resistant to many chemicals
  • Resistant to shrinking and stretching. It is also resistant to wrinkling and abrasions
  • The fibres used to create Polyester are very strong yet lightweight
  • The fibres are easily dyed
  • It retains its shape very well
  • It is a quick drying fabric, so a popular choice for outdoors clothing

Cotton

  • Comfortable Soft hand.
  • Good absorbency.
  • Color retention.
  • Prints well.
  • Machine-washable.
  • Dry-cleanable.
  • Good strength.
  • Drapes well.

Microfiber / Quick dry

  • Dries quickly and can be washable.
  • Shiny surface.
  • Non-sweat absorbent.
  • Sticky & warm feeling.

Spandex

  • can be stretched over 500% without breaking.
  • able to be stretched repetitively and still recover original length.
  • lightweight.
  • abrasion resistant.
  • poor strength, but stronger and more durable than rubber. soft, smooth, and supple. resistant to body oils, perspiration, lotions, and detergents.

Cotton / Polyester Blends

  • Strong and long lasting.
  • Wrinkle free.
  • Total absorbency.
  • Breathable.
  • Machine-washable.
  • Good strength.

Hi-Cool Performance Fabric

  • Helps to block the majority of UV rays.
  • Provides a UPF of 50.
  • Keeps fabric soft and breathable.
  • Durable effect.

Fabrics Type
